Made New Arts: Program for Youth in Foster Care

For this program, Partnership for Strong Families (PSF) partners with Made New Arts (MNA), a program that provides creative opportunities for youth who are at-risk of becoming marginalized due to current circumstances they may be experiencing. Many of the youth who would benefit from the program are in or may have just entered the foster care system. MNA teaches program participants positive reinforcement through creativity. This enables students to create visualizations of their world through art. Through the MNA program, we have even given our children the chance to present their art in an art show, giving them a chance to see that their work is appreciated.
