Held at the Northside Hub, 58 Parker Ave. on National STEM Day, November 7, 2026, the Growing STEMz foundation plans to host STEM activities, demonstrations, and guest speakers, and resources for Poughkeepsie and the surrounding area. We hope this becomes an annual event. We will promote the event at all elementary schools in the City of Poughkeepsie.

We want youth to experience hands on activities that relate to their lives and catalyze an interest in STEM, environmental awareness, and community.

In addition the North Side Hub (Scenic Hudson) is a community space that is available for organizations to use. We want to increase our relationships with other CBO and develop more partnerships for the North Side of Poughkeepsie.
The Growing STEMz Foundation has been working with youth in the City of Poughkeepsie since 2021. Each year we service over 300 youth through inschool residencies, Summer Camps and Saturday Academies.
