Each year in October, the Rockport Garden Club places ten dinghies around town. They are filled with chrysanthemums, hay bales, squash, pumpkins and gourds - and provide harvest beauty for the town.
After Thanksgiving we repurpose them as Holiday boats, placing a lobster trap, buoys, a Christmas tree with lights, and various greens and berries. They are much beloved by the town.
