Awesome Pittsburgh mines the brilliance of our city's artists, inventors, designers, leaders, champions, and dreamers and funds projects that have local impact and global resonance.

We are looking for projects that benefit groups of Pittsburgh residents or entire communities. We do not fund projects that only benefit the applicant, such as attending a conference or paying for living expenses while the applicant completes a project.

Typically, our winners are organizations or individuals like teachers, students, artists, and makers who want to do something awesome in their communities.. Only businesses that are extremely unique and/or offering services free of charge to populations in need will be considered.

Before you complete an application, we recommend you visit the Awesome PGH website to read about past winners and our objectives.
