Each year the Post plays host to over 100 Veterans from across the state. The local lobstermen take the abled bodied out for a day of fishing and touring. The wheelchair bound are hosted to a range of games including bingo. This year we plan on bring those folks for a walk through town to experience Bearskin Neck.
The group are welcomed with coffee and donuts followed by a box lunch prepared by the Legions Auxcillary. Finally after the boats come back a full dinner is prepared and served by the Post. It is so important to these Vets to get away from the institution that house them.
