The Solar "E-Trash to Treasure" Mobile Repair & Up

Electronic waste (e-waste) and plastic pollution are growing crises in urban townships, yet much discarded hardware contains functional parts, lithium cells, and usable materials. The "E-Trash to Treasure" Lab is a mobile, solar-powered workbench built into a heavy-duty cargo tricycle or portable kit.
It travels between local community markets, schools, and recycling drop-offs to deliver two core functions:

Community Repair Cafés: Free on-the-spot repair for small appliances, solar lights, and phones to keep electronics out of landfills and extend hardware lifespans.

Micro-Recycling Workshops: Teaching youth how to safely extract reusable components (like 18650 battery cells from broken laptops) to build DIY solar power banks, LED lanterns, and upcycled plastic items.

By combining direct landfill diversion with hands-on circular economy education, the project transforms toxic local waste into low-cost renewable power tools for everyday households.
