the Pollinator Festival

For one weekend, residents of all ages and abilities will be invited into hands-on experiences in music, theater, dance, drawing, cooking, printmaking, pottery, textiles, painting, planting, harvesting, and tasting. Some people may come to watch a short performance; others may make something with their hands, learn from a local artist, plant a seed, taste something grown nearby, or discover a creative practice they never knew they loved.
The Pollinator Festival takes place on September 12th and 13th at the Northside Hub. The event takes place from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
The festival is also a living preview of a larger vision: a sustainable Pollinator Art Hub in the City of Poughkeepsie, where multidisciplinary arts programming, shared practice, wellness, food, farming, and public participation can happen year-round. For a city already rich with creative energy, the Festival plants a visible seed for what comes next: a more connected, vibrant, and participatory Poughkeepsie.
We are building momentum and need your help to realize these lofty goals.
