GardenWalk Cleveland is an annual, free, self-guided tour of Cleveland gardens and urban farms that has occurred annually since 2011. Last year (2025), over 300 gardeners across ten Cleveland neighborhoods participated inviting visitors to delight in their gardens. The GardenWalk takes place the second weekend of July, and will be held on July 11th and 12th this year. Gardeners who wish to showcase their gardens sign up through our website, or through contacting one of our neighborhood volunteers (garden-finders). GardenWalk Cleveland aims to strengthen communities, change perceptions of the city, and beautify neighborhoods. We do not curate the gardens that participate: our only requisite is the garden be in one of the neighborhoods designated for the year (which neighborhoods participate largely depends on availability of volunteers, interest, and concentration of gardens). We believe that all gardens, new and established, small and large, are a net positive and contribute to making Cleveland a better, healthier, more colorful place to live.
