My name is Gaston, I have been organising Sydney Bike Rave for the last seven months. We are a new event in Sydney looking to get the community out on their bikes and build confidence in riders via a fun event of music and bike riding!
I host a ride once a month (sometimes more) around Sydney. We have four medium sized speakers which cargo bikes carry and link up the sound. These speakers play music all together and are great to get people out on their bikes!
Rides have been a great success with around 70-140 riders attending, with a growing number of riders every event!
City of Sydney council have contacted me that they support the event and I have a group of volunteers who help me carry gear and organise each ride. I do not take or make any money from this event I just love to get people out there on their bikes and enjoy some live music.
