Second hand bus seats recovered in some funky haberdashery were put in place around central Whangarei. The seats where fixed to public spaces (sign posts/traffic poles/street lamp, etc).
The idea being, get locals to 'have a seat', ponder a moment while waiting to cross at the lights, view the road from a relaxed position, have a bit of fun and interact with some unusual street art which can be moved around town to different places.
