About Us

The Open Web Chapter of the Awesome Foundation is now accepting applications! We are a group of (mostly) Mozilla folks who deeply believe that the Open Web is changing mankind. Our once-a-month $1,000 micro-grant is geared toward this belief - so if you're doing something truly awesome on the Internet: Apply! If you have questions - don't hesitate to ping us and follow our Awesome Open Web Twitter account for updates.

FAQ:

-What type of projects is the Open Web Chapter funding? We look for projects where the grant will be used to build awesome stuff on the Internet. We do not fund projects where the grant will be used for travel expenses, marketing, and buying a laptop.

-Do you encourage to reapply if we didn't get selected the first time? Yes, we encourage reapplications.
