Home At The End Of The World
A hard bound book of true tales written by individuals who lived in Key West during the 60's, 70's and 80's. There are 74 stories told by 52 people which are honest, touching, shocking and a very fun ride.
Conceived and curated by Rita Troxel, the book has been in the making for 12 years. There is an extensive selection of images from this distinctive era and the collection comprises a treasure trove of memories – it’s a lovely, wacky and weird family album from a time of innocence, deep and lasting friendships, fast living and crazed debauchery.
The photos by Joan and Wright Langley, Jamie Alcroft, Kirk Brown, Lawson Little and the many snapshots from personal archives will add a lively visual record to the memories chronicled in the book.
Home At The End of the World is conceived and curated by Rita and edited by Jamie Alcroft, Rita Troxel and Lynne Bentley-Kemp. Book design by Lynne and Rita with cover photo by Lynne.
