I'm going to work with Key West's Poet Laureate, Arlo Haskell, to create a Poet Tree. We are eyeing the kapok at Jackson Square, or the Gumbo Limbo near Mile Marker 0. The tree will be marked with an appropriate sign or plaque (perhaps a coral stone for poets to stand on) and we will work with local poets to have daily readings with which to delight people who seek poetry, and even those who simply wanted a photo at Mile Marker 0.
