Bexar County High School Film Festival

The Right Light, San Antonio's only nonprofit video production company, is partnering with the San Antonio Area Foundation to produce the first-ever Bexar County high school film festival. Our goal is to give high school students a chance to try their hand at filmmaking while showcasing local nonprofit organizations.

We're encouraging San Antonio students to learn more about communications and their community by connecting them with service organizations to tell the stories that change lives.

Each high school team participating in the festival will be paired with a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Bexar County. Then the teams will create a three-minute video supporting their nonprofit's mission. The students get the chance to explore careers in media production and the nonprofits get to tell the world about the work they do.

Videos chosen by our panel of judges will be showcased at a premier night where we'll honor San Antonio's best young filmmakers. Then, all the videos produced during the festival will be donated to the featured nonprofit organizations to support their missions.

Join us in giving high school students the opportunity to serve their community while learning valuable job skills and exploring career opportunities. By sponsoring the Bexar County High School Film Festival you're giving students and nonprofits a better future in San Antonio.
