Art at the Armory 2.0: A Steampunk Transformation

Art at the Armory 2.0:A Steampunk Transformation is a 2 day 'pop-up' art show to be located at the North Boulder National Guard Station (The Armory). BAM will kick off the 2-day art show Friday, October 31st, 2014 with an evening celebration from 8pm-12. There will be a live band, a food truck catering, and the stars of the event are local Boulder Artists displaying their artwork. Steampunk cardboard sculptures created by artists will also be displayed through out the venue. On Saturday, November 1st, 2014 from 10am to 4pm, the Armory art show will be free and open to the public. We are gearing Saturday's event to be fun and family oriented. We will have another food truck on site offering their tasty treats, a kid/young adult area to create their own steampunk cardboard sculpture table, and other steampunk themed activities for the family. Art Parts Creative Reuse Center (http://www.artpartsboulder.org/) will be on site guiding the creative activity tables with their talented teachers. Art Parts is also bringing recycled materials and found items from local business surplus. We are offering cash prizes to the most innovative steampunk sculptures.
